The Lion is mentioned in the Bible 119 times, 110 times in the Old Testament and nine times in the New Testament.

The Lion itself is not mentioned in the Noble Quran; however, wild beasts (wild animals) is mentioned once.

In the Bible, Revelation 4:5-8 say that God has seven spirits; around God’s throne there were four living creatures covered with eyes. The Lion which has six wings and is covered with eyes all around and the animals are Glorifying God.

The Noble Quran says that Allah has One Spirit and the Angels are around the Throne and are glorifying Allah with praise.

==============================================

Revelation 4:5-8 in four different versions of the Bible:

New International Version

5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. Before the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits of God.

6 Also before the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back.

7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle.

8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under his wings. Day and night they never stop saying: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.”

New American Standard Bible

5 Out from the throne come flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God;

6 and before the throne there was something like a sea of glass, like crystal; and in the center and around the throne, four living creatures full of eyes in front and behind.

7 The first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face like that of a man, and the fourth creature was like a flying eagle.

8 And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say, “HOLY, HOLY, HOLY is THE LORD GOD, THE ALMIGHTY, WHO WAS AND WHO IS AND WHO IS TO COME.”

English Standard Version

5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, and rumblings and peals of thunder, and before the throne were burning seven torches of fire, which are the seven spirits of God,

6 and before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass, like crystal. And around the throne, on each side of the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind:

7 the first living creature like a lion, the second living creature like an ox, the third living creature with the face of a man, and the fourth living creature like an eagle in flight.

8 And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and day and night they never cease to say, “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!”

King James Version

5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.

7And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.

8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

==============================================

The Angels (not the Animals) are around the Throne and are glorifying Allah with praise.

Verse 39:75 of the Noble Quran in four different translations:

QARIB:

And you shall see the angels encircling the throne exalting with the praise of their Lord. and the matter will be justly decided between them, and it shall be said: ‘praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds! ‘

SHAKIR:

And you shall see the angels going round about the throne glorifying the praise of their Lord; and judgment shall be given between them with justice, and it shall be said: all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds

PICKTHAL:

And thou (O Muhammad) seest the angels thronging round the throne, hymning the praises of their Lord. and they are judged aright. and it is said: praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds!

YUSUFALI:

And thou wilt see the angels surrounding the throne (divine) on all sides, singing glory and praise to their Lord. the decision between them (at judgment) will be in (perfect) justice, and the cry (on all sides) will be, “praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds!”

The meaning of the verse:

And you will see the angels all round the Throne, from its every side, glorifying with praise of their Lord, continuously proclaiming His praise.

In other words, they are saying ‘Glory, and praise, be to Allah!’

And judgment will be made between them, that is, between all creatures, with truth and with justice, so that the believers enter Paradise while the disbelievers enter the Fire, and it will be said, ‘Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds!’

The final establishing of both groups in their respective abodes is concluded with this angelic praise.

———————————

Not in the Bible: Allah commanded the Angels to honor Adam

Verse 15:29 of the Noble Quran in four different translations:

QARIB: when I have shaped him and ran my created soul in him fall down prostrating towards him’.

SHAKIR: so when I have made him complete and breathed into him of my spirit, fall down making obeisance to him

PICKTHAL: so, when I have made him and have breathed into him of my spirit, do ye fall down, prostrating yourselves unto him.

YUSUFALI: “when I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of my spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him.”

The meaning of the verse:

So, when I have proportioned him (Adam), completed him, and breathed, caused to flow, of My Spirit in him, so that he becomes a living thing; the annexation of ‘the Spirit’ to him is a conferring of honor upon Adam, fall down in prostration before him!’, a prostration [meant as an act] of salutation by bowing.

Herein Allah commanded the Angels to honor Adam; this incident is not found in the Bible.

———————————

Jacob knew that Allah has only one Spirit

Verse 12:87 of the Noble Quran in four different translations:

QARIB: go and seek news of Joseph and his brother. Do not despair of the comfort of Allah, none but unbelievers despair of the comfort of Allah. ‘

SHAKIR: o my sons! go and inquire respecting yusuf and his brother, and despair not of Allah’s mercy; surely none despairs of Allah’s mercy except the unbelieving people

PICKTHAL: go, o my sons, and ascertain concerning Joseph and his brother, and despair not of the spirit of Allah. lo! None despaireth of the spirit of Allah save disbelieving folk.

YUSUFALI: “o my sons! go ye and enquire about Joseph and his brother, and never give up hope of Allah’s soothing mercy: truly no one despairs of Allah’s soothing mercy, except those who have no faith.”

The meaning of the verse:

For this reason, Jacob said: (Go, O my sons, and ascertain concerning Joseph and his brother) go and enquire about Joseph and his brother Benjamin (and despair not of the Spirit of Allah) despair not of the mercy of Allah. (Lo! None despaired of the Spirit of Allah) of the mercy of Allah (save disbelieving folk) save the people who disbelieve in Allah and His mercy.

In other words, Jacob said: O my sons, go and enquire about Joseph and his brother, seek news of them, and do not despair of God’s [gracious] Spirit, His mercy. Indeed none despairs of the [gracious] Spirit of God save the disbelieving folk’: and so they departed to Egypt [to look] for Joseph.

Hence, Jacob knew that Allah has only one Spirit.

==============================================

5 Out from the throne come flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God;

==============================================

==============================================

5 Out from the throne come flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God;

==============================================

Chapter 49 in the Noble Quran is AL-HUJRAAT (THE PRIVATE APARTMENTS); it is composed of 18 verses.

Verses from 6-10 are talking about 1) Allah Commands: if a Man Comes to you with Some News, Verify It, 2) Allah Commands: Do not Speak falsehood, Otherwise you would Surely be in Twofold Trouble, 3) Allah’s Law If two Parties of Believers Fall to Fighting and 4) Allah Commands: Make Peace Between them when they Fall into Dispute with one another.

—————

The meanings of the verses 49:6-10

Verse six says:

The following was revealed regarding a hypocrite whom the Prophet had sent to a folk of believers in order to collect their alms; He already feared them on account of an old feud between him and them before Islam, and so upon seeing them come out to him he returned and claimed that they had refused to give the voluntary alms and intended to kill him. And just as the Prophet was making plans to raid them, they came to him to disavow what the hypocrite man had said about them:

O you who believe, if a reprobate should come to you with some tiding, some piece of information, verify it, ascertain his truthfulness from his mendacity lest you injure a folk, that is to say, for fear of this happening, out of ignorance, that is to say while you are ignorant; and then become remorseful of what you have perpetrated, erroneously against that folk.

After they (the folk) had returned to their homelands, the Prophet sent a good man to them, who observed only obedience and goodness in them and later informed the Prophet of this.

In other words, the verse says:

O you who believe in Allah, Muhammad and the Quran, if a hypocrite, bring you tidings, brings you some news (verify it) check whether the news are true or false, lest you injure some folk in ignorance and afterward you ask forgiveness of what you did and you will feel sorry because you hurt them.

Verse seven says

And know that the Messenger of Allah is among you, so do not speak falsehood, for Allah will inform him of the real state of affairs. If the Messenger obeys you in many matters, which you communicate contrary to reality, so that the necessary evil consequences ensue, you would surely be in trouble, you would earn in addition to that sin, the sin for the consequences that ensue from your error. But Allah has endeared faith to you, adorning your hearts with it, and He has made odious to you disbelief and immorality and disobedience. those who have such traits are they who are rightly guided; they are the right-minded, the ones firmly established upon the way of their religion;

Verse eight says:

It is a bounty and a grace from Allah; that He honored the believers; and Allah is Knower of honoring the believers; Wise in placing in their hearts love of faith and hatred of disbelief, lewdness and rebellion.

Verse nine says:

If two parties of believers fall to fighting make peace between them. And if one of them aggresses against the other, fight the one which aggresses until it returns to the truth, to Allah’s ordinance. Then, if it returns, reconcile them, fairly, and act justly. Surely God loves the just.

Verse ten says:

The believers are indeed brothers, in religion. Therefore always make peace between your brethren by means of the Book of Allah (and observe your duty to Allah), when they fall into dispute with one another

and fear Allah regarding that which He commands you regarding making peace (that haply ye may obtain mercy) and not be punished.

—————

The Verses 1-5 in different English translations:

49:6

QARIB: believers, if an evildoer brings you a piece of news, inquire first, in case you should unwittingly wrong others and then repent of what you have done.

SHAKIR: o you who believe! if an evil-doer comes to you with a report, look carefully into it, lest you harm a people in ignorance, then be sorry for what you have done

PICKTHAL: o ye who believe! if an evil-liver bring you tidings, verify it, lest ye smite some folk in ignorance and afterward repent of what ye did.

YUSUFALI: o ye who believe! if a wicked person comes to you with any news, ascertain the truth, lest ye harm people unwittingly, and afterwards become full of repentance for what ye have done.

49:7

QARIB: know that the messenger of Allah is among you. if he were to obey you in many matters, you would surely suffer. but Allah has endeared the belief to you and beautified it in your hearts, and has made detestable to you disbelief, wrongdoing, and disobedience. such are those who are righteous

SHAKIR: and know that among you is Allah’s messenger; should he obey you in many a matter, you would surely fall into distress, but Allah has endeared the faith to you and has made it seemly in your hearts, and he has made hateful to you unbelief and transgression and disobedience; these it is that are the followers of a right way

PICKTHAL: and know that the messenger of Allah is among you. if he were to obey you in much of the government, ye would surely be in trouble; but Allah hath endeared the faith to you and hath beautified it in your hearts, and hath made disbelief and lewdness and rebellion hateful unto you. such are they who are the rightly guided.

YUSUFALI: and know that among you is Allah’s messenger: were he, in many matters, to follow your (wishes), ye would certainly fall into misfortune: but Allah has endeared the faith to you, and has made it beautiful in your hearts, and he has made hateful to you unbelief, wickedness, and rebellion: such indeed are those who walk in righteousness;-

49:8

QARIB: by the favor and blessing of Allah. Allah is the knower and the wise.

SHAKIR: by grace from Allah and as a favor; and Allah is knowing, wise

PICKTHAL: (it is) a bounty and a grace from Allah; and Allah is knower, wise.

YUSUFALI: a grace and favour from Allah; and Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.

49:9

QARIB: if two parties of believers fight, reform between them. if either of them is insolent against the other, fight the insolent one till they revert to the order of Allah. if they revert, reform between them with justice, and weigh with justice. Allah loves those who weigh with justice.

SHAKIR: and if two parties of the believers quarrel, make peace between them; but if one of them acts wrongfully towards the other, fight that which acts wrongfully until it returns to Allah’s command; then if it returns, make peace between them with justice and act equitably; surely Allah loves those who act equitably

PICKTHAL: and if two parties of believers fall to fighting, then make peace between them. and if one party of them doeth wrong to the other, fight ye that which doeth wrong till it return unto the ordinance of Allah; then, if it return, make peace between them justly, and act equitably. lo! Allah loveth the equitable.

YUSUFALI: if two parties among the believers fall into a quarrel, make ye peace between them: but if one of them transgresses beyond bounds against the other, then fight ye (all) against the one that transgresses until it complies with the command of Allah; but if it complies, then make peace between them with justice, and be fair: for Allah loves those who are fair (and just).

49:10

QARIB: believers are indeed brothers, therefore make things right among your two brothers and fear Allah, so that you will be subject to mercy.

SHAKIR: the believers are but brethren, therefore make peace between your brethren and be careful of (your duty to) Allah that mercy may be had on you

PICKTHAL: the believers are naught else than brothers. therefore make peace between your brethren and observe your duty to Allah that haply ye may obtain mercy.

YUSUFALI: the believers are but a single brotherhood: so make peace and reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers; and fear Allah, that ye may receive mercy.

Forever means time without end, everlasting time; eternally, all times, incessantly, limitless time, without ever ending.

“He wants to live Forever but No one can live Forever”.

Forever is mentioned 290 times in the Bible and 14 times in the Quran.

How does the Bible use “Forever”:

The Forever Land:

The Lord Promised the Israelites to give them the “Land” Forever, while the history and the today news notify that this promise never happened. Moreover, the Bible says that “the righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it Forever” and we all know that both the righteous and the “wicked” inherit the land and dwell in it.

Genesis 13:15

All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring Forever.

Exodus 32:13

Remember your servants Abraham, Isaac and Israel, to whom you swore by your own self: ‘I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and I will give your descendants all this land I promised them, and it will be their inheritance Forever.’ “

Joshua 14:9

So on that day Moses swore to me, ‘The land on which your feet have walked will be your inheritance and that of your children Forever, because you have followed the LORD my God wholeheartedly.’

2 Chronicles 20:7

O our God, did you not drive out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel and give it Forever to the descendants of Abraham your friend?

Psalm 37:29

The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it Forever.

Ruin Forever, never to be rebuilt.

Desolate Forever, no man will dwell in it

The Lord says that Hazor and other Biblical places will desolate and no man will dwell in such places Forever, however, these places are still full of life.

Deuteronomy 13:16

Gather all the plunder of the town into the middle of the public square and completely burn the town and all its plunder as a whole burnt offering to the LORD your God. It is to remain a ruin Forever, never to be rebuilt.

Jeremiah 49:33

“Hazor will become a haunt of jackals, a desolate place Forever. No one will live there; no man will dwell in it.”

Jeremiah 51:26

No rock will be taken from you for a cornerstone, nor any stone for a foundation, for you will be desolate Forever,” declares the LORD.

The throne Forever

The peace Forever

The Lord promised that the throne of David and his descendants will remain secure before the Lord Forever and they will live in peace Forever. The History from David’s time up till now signifies that this Lord’s promise never achieved.

2 Samuel 7:13

He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom Forever.

2 Samuel 7:16

Your house and your kingdom will endure Forever before me ; your throne will be established Forever.’ “

1 Kings 2:33

May the guilt of their blood rest on the head of Joab and his descendants Forever. But on David and his descendants, his house and his throne, may there be the Lord’s peace Forever.”

1 Kings 2:45

But King Solomon will be blessed, and David’s throne will remain secure before the LORD Forever.”

1 Kings 9:5

I will establish your royal throne over Israel Forever, as I promised David your father when I said, ‘You shall never fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.’

Psalm 89:29

I will establish his line Forever, his throne as long as the heavens endure.

2 Chronicles 13:5

Don’t you know that the LORD, the God of Israel, has given the kingship of Israel to David and his descendants Forever by a covenant of salt?

The Lord sits over the flood as King Forever.

The Lord will dwell at the mountain Forever

The Lord rejected them Forever but He will not always accuse Forever. Awake, O Lord! Why do you sleep? Rouse yourself

Psalm 29:10

The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD is enthroned as King Forever.

Psalm 44:23

Awake, O Lord! Why do you sleep? Rouse yourself! Do not reject us Forever.

Psalm 68:16

Why gaze in envy, O rugged mountains, at the mountain where God chooses to reign, where the Lord himself will dwell Forever?

Psalm 74:1

[ A maskil of Asaph. ] Why have you rejected us Forever, O God? Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?

Psalm 103:9

He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger Forever;

Isaiah 57:16

I will not accuse Forever, nor will I always be angry, for then the spirit of man would grow faint before me— the breath of man that I have created.

Live Forever

Live Forever is used six times in the Bible.

Of course there is nothing on the Earth that would or could Live Forever

1 Kings 1:31

Then Bathsheba bowed low with her face to the ground and, kneeling before the king, said, “May my Lord King David live Forever!”

Psalm 49:9

that he should live on Forever and not see decay.

Daniel 3:9

They said to King Nebuchadnezzar, “O king, live Forever!

Daniel 5:10

The queen, hearing the voices of the king and his nobles, came into the banquet hall. “O king, live Forever!” she said. “Don’t be alarmed! Don’t look so pale!

Daniel 6:6

So the administrators and the satraps went as a group to the king and said: “O King Darius, live Forever!

Daniel 6:21

Daniel answered, “O king, live Forever!

For this reason, one has to be cautious when interpreting the following two verses about the bread and blood of Jesus

The meaning of these two verses are only found in John and never mentioned in the other three Gospels.

John 6:51

I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live Forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”

John 6:58

This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your forefathers ate manna and died, but he who feeds on this bread will live Forever.”

Priest Forever

Melchizedek is an unknown and an extremely vague person.

He is described as:” Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, like the Son of God he remains a priest Forever”. Jesus ranks in the order of Melchizedek.

However, it seems likely that Melchizedek is superior to Jesus because he has no mother while Jesus has a mother.

Psalm 110:4

The LORD has sworn and will not change his mind: “You are a priest Forever, in the order of Melchizedek.”

Hebrews 5:6

And he says in another place, “You are a priest Forever, in the order of Melchizedek.”

Hebrews 6:20

Where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest Forever, in the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 7:3

Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, like the Son of God he remains a priest Forever.

Hebrews 7:17

For it is declared: “You are a priest Forever, in the order of Melchizedek.”

Hebrews 7:21

but he became a priest with an oath when God said to him: “The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind: ‘You are a priest Forever.’ “

Hebrews 7:24

but because Jesus lives Forever, he has a permanent priesthood.

Destroyed Forever

I wonder why the Bible deals with Esau like that.

It is Jacob who was unfair to his brother Esau and cheated him.

Obadiah 1:10

Because of the violence against your brother Jacob, you will be covered with shame; you will be destroyed Forever.

Love Forever

The Love Forever means killing of mighty kings

Psalm 136:18

And killed mighty kings— His love endures Forever.

Sleep Forever

Is there sleep Forever?

Jeremiah 51:39

But while they are aroused, I will set out a feast for them and make them drunk, so that they shout with laughter— then sleep Forever and not awake,” declares the LORD.

Jeremiah 51:57

I will make her officials and wise men drunk, her governors, officers and warriors as well; they will sleep Forever and not awake,” declares the King, whose name is the LORD Almighty.

Leprosy Forever

Is there leprosy Forever?

2 Kings 5:27

Naaman’s leprosy will cling to you and to your descendants Forever.” Then Gehazi went from Elisha’s presence and he was leprous, as white as snow.

Womb enlarged Forever

Is there Womb enlarged Forever?

Jeremiah 20:17

For he did not kill me in the womb, with my mother as my grave, her womb enlarged Forever.

Wandering stars Forever

Scientifically speaking there are no Wandering stars neither ever nor Forever!

Jude 1:13

They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved Forever.

How does the Quran use “Forever”:

Scientifically speaking, there is nothing Forever on the Earth. Everything and anything should have an end.

The Quran never uses “Forever” for anything on the Earth.

The Quran uses “Forever” for the Afterlife.

The Believers: Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them Forever

Surah 4:57

“And (as for) those who believe and do good deeds, we will make them enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them Forever; they shall have therein pure mates, and we shall make them enter a dense shade”

Surah 4:122

“And (as for) those who believe and do good, we will make them enter into gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein Forever; (it is) a promise of Allah, true (indeed), and who is truer of word than Allah?”

Surah 5:119

“Allah will say: this is the day when their truth shall benefit the truthful ones; they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide in them Forever: Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Allah; this is the mighty achievement”

Surah 9:21-22

21- Their lord gives them good news of mercy from himself and (his) good pleasure and gardens, wherein lasting blessings shall be theirs;

22- Abiding therein Forever; surely Allah has a mighty reward with him”

Surah 9:100

Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with him, and he has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them Forever; that is the mighty achievement”

Surah 18:1-3

1- (All) praise is due to Allah, who revealed the book to his servant and did not make in it any crookedness”

2- Rightly directing, that he might give warning of severe punishment from him and give good news to the believers who do good that they shall have a goodly reward,”

3- Staying in it Forever”

Surah 64:9

“On the day that he will gather you for the day of gathering, that is the day of loss and gain; and whoever believes in Allah and does good, he will remove from him his evil and cause him to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein Forever; that is the great achievement”

Surah 65:11

“an messenger (Mohammad) who recites to you the clear communications of Allah so that he may bring forth those who believe and do good deeds from darkness into light; and whoever believes in Allah and does good deeds, he will cause him to enter gardens beneath which rivers now, to abide therein Forever, Allah has indeed given him a goodly sustenance”

The Unbelievers: hell, to abide in it Forever

Surah 4:168-169

168- Surely (as for) those who disbelieve and act unjustly Allah will not forgive them nor guide them to a path;

169- Except the path of hell, to abide in it Forever, and this is easy to Allah

Surah 33:64-65

64- Surely Allah has cursed the unbelievers and has prepared for them a burning fire,

65- To abide therein Forever; they shall not find a protector or a helper

Surah 72:22-23

22- say: surely no one can protect me against Allah, nor can i find besides him any place of refuge:

23- (It is) only a delivering (of communications) from Allah and his messages; and whoever disobeys Allah and his messenger surely he shall have the fire of hell to abide therein Forever.

The following verses summarize the fate of Human beings in the Afterlife.

Surah 98:6-8

6- Surely those who disbelieve from among the followers of the book and the polytheists shall be in the fire of hell, abiding therein Forever; they are the worst of men

7- (as for) those who believe and do good, surely they are the -best of men

8- Their reward with their lord is gardens of perpetuity beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein Forever; Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with him; that is for him who fears his lord

Back to the main issue of my series of articles (1-37); this is my question to you smart readers: “Is the Quran quoted from the Bible “?

Psalm 103:9

He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger Forever;

21- Their lord gives them good news of mercy from himself and (his) good pleasure and gardens, wherein lasting blessings shall be theirs;

168- Surely (as for) those who disbelieve and act unjustly Allah will not forgive them nor guide them to a path;

Psalm 103:9

He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger Forever;

21- Their lord gives them good news of mercy from himself and (his) good pleasure and gardens, wherein lasting blessings shall be theirs;

168- Surely (as for) those who disbelieve and act unjustly Allah will not forgive them nor guide them to a path;

Psalm 103:9

He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger Forever;

21- Their lord gives them good news of mercy from himself and (his) good pleasure and gardens, wherein lasting blessings shall be theirs;

168- Surely (as for) those who disbelieve and act unjustly Allah will not forgive them nor guide them to a path;

Back to the main issue of my series of articles; this is my question to you smart readers: “Is the Quran quoted from the Bible “?

Psalm 103:9

He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger Forever;

21- Their lord gives them good news of mercy from himself and (his) good pleasure and gardens, wherein lasting blessings shall be theirs;

168- Surely (as for) those who disbelieve and act unjustly Allah will not forgive them nor guide them to a path;

Back to the main issue of my series of articles; this is my question to you smart readers: “Is the Quran quoted from the Bible “?

If you are one of the many people who live busy lives and just find that they do not have time to sit down and read the Bible then an audio Bible may be the answer you are lookikng for. Your intentions are good, but for one reason or another it often gets pushed to the end of the “to do” list. One easy way to put the Bible back into your daily life is to listen to an audio bible. the Audio Bible comes in all the versions and over 250 different languages, so even if English is not your first language, you can still enjoy hearing God’s Word in your preferred language. With all the different versions of the audio bible available, you can select your favorite. Popular versions such as the King James audio Bible, Catholic audio Bible, and NIV audio Bible are readily available as audio Bible downloads.

Many people grew up reading the King James Bible. Now you can enjoy the King James audio Bible, and enjoy the Psalms in all their poetic glory, for example.

Biblical scholars will often concur that the NIV, or New International Version, of the Bible most closely follows the original Hebrew that the Old Testament was originally written in, and thus is an excellent version to reference for Old Testament studies. The NIV audio Bible is available for your listening edification.

The Catholic audio Bible is also available. The version used is the New American Bible.

Other audio Bible downloads are available in other versions. You might like to read God’s word in the Contemporary English Version. This particular version comes with Native American voices featured in the spoken audio, or it comes with African American voices. You will discover how exciting Bible stories can be when you hear them in an audio drama format. This telling of your favorite verses come with multiple voices, sound effects and music to make the stories come more fully to life on your computer or mp3 player.

If you are looking for a version for a child to use, perhaps the New International Readers Version for Children would be appropriate. This version can be found in mp3 format, so that your child can play it on an mp3 player. Kids especially love these playback devices, and it is easy to load them up with the Word of God.

There are many other versions of the audio Bible from which you can select your favorites. The New Revised Standard and Good News versions come with audio download capabilities.

There are even several versions of the same Bible version. For instance, you can enjoy the Contemporary English version of the audio Bible in English, utilizing Native American or African American voices. The Good News version comes in English or Anglicized English, and even in Australian. The New International Version comes in English and in Anglicized English. All of this for your listening pleasure, so that you can relish the audio Bible in the version that best speaks to you.

Susan Slobac leads a busy life, but still finds time to listen to her Audio Bible. She prefers the King James audio Bible, but has friends from Bible study who listen to the NIV audio Bible. Susan finds that audio Bible downloads are a convenient way to obtain differnt versions of the Bible.
